This project aims at enhancing the beekeeping adoption process, adding value to this profession so that it can be an alternative source of income to households in the Kasese and the other surrounding districts. LIDEFO Uganda has been involved in beekeeping work since 2002 and over 1,500 beekeepers and 2,000 non- beekeepers are involved from 30 sub counties in Kasese, Bunyangabu, Kabarole and Kyenjojo Districts.
